Our history

When their first daughter was born, Céline & Gabriel realized that all diapers were made from petrochemical plastics, and that the ingredients were not very clear. They wanted to revolutionize the world of hygiene by offering ecological and healthy products for babies and the planet, with complete transparency. Love & Green was born in 2011! Since then, the range has expanded to include certified organic wipes and skincare products, as well as a range of menstrual products free from controversial substances, and made with ever more natural ingredients.

A committed company

We are a family-owned French SME of 35 women and men who are highly committed and motivated to the same battles. We campaign daily to offer more natural alternatives for hygiene products, to limit our impact on the environment while taking care of the health of our consumers. But the adventure doesn't stop there! Our aim is to go even further by finding ever healthier and more natural alternatives. Investing in Research and Development is essential for Love & Green: it's thanks to these innovations that we're taking the compostable diaper route. And yes, at Love & Green we believe in it (and we'll get there!). Having been awarded the PME+ label since 2020, we are determined to go even further in our CSR commitments. That's why, in 2022, we're officially becoming a "Company with a Mission". It's a powerful act, publicly reinforcing our social and environmental commitments.

Our mission

The mission stated in our articles of association: since its creation in 2011, Love and Green has been committed to designing high-performance, healthy products for families and the planet alike, reducing petrochemical plastics to a minimum and banishing controversial substances. Boldly determined, we want to revolutionize the world of hygiene, as well as all our future development markets, by shaking up established ideas in order to militate for natural compositions in complete transparency, with no compromise between efficacy, naturalness, traceability and environmental impact. To achieve this, we aim to work with our ecosystem to reinvent practices and methods, to promote responsible and transparent approaches by all players towards today's and tomorrow's consumers.

A mission-driven company

What is it? A new legal status, framed by the PACTE law of May 2019, which enables companies that wish to do so to officially set themselves societal and environmental objectives in addition to their economic ones. This is a strong public and legal commitment, which implies that the company is committed to providing a positive solution to the collective interest. All this is regularly audited by an accredited independent third-party organization.

What does this mean for Green Family?

Following an in-depth analysis of our CSR orientations and strategy, we carried out a major consultation. We questioned our main direct stakeholders: our employees, shareholders, customers, suppliers, associative partners, as well as CSR experts, notably the community of companies with a mission. This enabled us to refine the formalization of our raison d'être, as well as our objectives, so as to be able to deploy it and bring it to life.

🥇 Design and distribute, with our suppliers, high-performance products, labeled or certified, and composed as much as possible of materials of natural origin.

🌿 Make the approach “measure, limit, reduce, reuse, recycle, valorize, and compensate for what could not be avoided” a standard for our production, relying on robust, standardized and recognized methods such as Life Cycle Analysis.

🙌 Support our consumers in responsible uses, by rethinking their consumption patterns. 💡 Cultivate the spirit of initiative of our employees and our suppliers with the aim of transforming our markets together by continually innovating.

🤝 Dialogue with public authorities and our customers, regarding the importance of clarity of compositions & productions, and the valorization of products taking into account environmental, social and societal issues.
